Lucknow Municipal Corporation and Lucknow Smart City Limited in association with Elets Technomedia Pvt. Ltd. are organising a one-day National Liveability Summit on February 22, 2020 in Lucknow with an objective to have better liveability standards.

The Government of India along with the various State and Local Governments is implementing several flagship Urban Missions. An overarching goal of the various missions and schemes is to make Indian cities more "Liveable". Lucknow Municipal Corporation and Lucknow Smart City Limited are committed to facilitate a quality of life to the citizens.

The Summit will act as a knowledge exchange platform for policymakers, thought leaders, state administrators, technology & industry leaders, innovators, NGOs, international experts to discuss and deliberate upon the Liveability Standards in Cities for e.g. physical infrastructure like housing, open spaces, land use, energy and water availability, solid waste management and pollution, governance, social infrastructure, education, employment, health and safety and security among others.
